Hillary Tells UK News Rioters are ‘Tiny, Tiny Minority’ of BLM, Trump Has ‘Hijacked’ Christianity

Hillary Clinton said that violent looters and rioters are a “tiny, tiny minority” of the Black Lives Matter movement and accused President Trump of trying to “hijack Christianity” in a soft-ball interview with British news broadcaster Kay Burley.

The supposedly impartial Sky News broadcaster, who at one point in the interview said she “wanted to come over and give [Mrs Clinton] a hug” after spotting her at a restaurant following her 2016 election defeat, led the former Senator and Secretary of State by saying she wanted to ask her “specifically” about “the fact” that President Trump “used tear gas on the protesters” outside St. John’s Episcopal Church.

“They were totally peaceful protesters!” waxed the former First Lady enthusiastically.

Neither Mrs Clinton nor Burley mentioned that BLM activists had earlier set the historic church on fire, or the fact, in any case, the police long ago made it clear that no tear gas was used during the incident, despite inaccurate media reports asserting that it was.

“[W]hat [President Trump] was trying to do [at the church], as he often does, is to mischaracterise [Black Lives Matter supporters] and their behaviour and their goals and lump them in with a tiny, tiny minority of people who took advantage of a tragic moment to loot, and to steal, and to vandalise — a tiny, tiny percentage,” Mrs Clinton insisted.

“[President Trump] wanted to cast that [criminality] over the millions of, you know, very thoughtful, non-violent, peaceful protesters.”

“For a photo opportunity,” the impartial Burley chipped in helpfully.

“Well, absolutely!” replied Mrs Clinton, warming to the theme the British broadcaster had offered her.

“For a photo opportunity holding a book he’s never read,” she added.

“He says that it’s one of his favourite books,” replied Burley.

“Yes, and he cant tell you a single thing that’s in it, that has been a pattern, he’s tried to hijack, uh, Christianity and the Bible in ways that are, you know, deeply hypocritical, and that was just another occasion,” Clinton replied.

Trump Administration Condemned China’s Muslim Concentration Camps a Year Before Bolton Says Trump Approved Them

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton claims President Donald Trump told China’s president to go ahead with Muslim concentration camps in June 2019, but the Trump administration had condemned them already in July 2018.

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Thursday to promote his new book, The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir, Bolton claimed that Trump gave Chinese Premier Xi Jinping the go-ahead to round up millions of Uighurs:

At the opening dinner of the Osaka G-20 meeting in June 2019, with only interpreters present, Xi had explained to Trump why he was basically building concentration camps in Xinjiang. According to our interpreter, Trump said that Xi should go ahead with building the camps, which Trump thought was exactly the right thing to do.

However, almost a year before, the Trump administration had specifically condemned China’s concentration camps at the first-ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom in Washington, DC in July 2018:

As representatives of the international community, we are deeply concerned about the significant restrictions on religious freedom in China and call on the Chinese government to respect the human rights of all individuals. Many members of religious minority groups in China – including Uighurs, Hui, and Kazakh Muslims; Tibetan Buddhists; Catholics; Protestants; and Falun Gong – face severe repression and discrimination because of their beliefs.

We are particularly troubled by reports of the Chinese government’s deepening crackdown on Uighurs and members of other Muslim minority groups in China, including: undue restrictions on freedom of religion; destruction of mosques; unprecedented levels of surveillance; efforts to pressure other governments into forcibly returning Uighurs to China or to coerce family members of Uighurs still in Xinjiang to encourage Uighurs living aboard to return; and the detention of hundreds of thousands, and possibly millions, of Uighurs and members of other Muslim minority groups in facilities ranging from makeshift holding centers to prisons, ostensibly for “political re-education,” in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. There are reports of deaths in these facilities. We call on the Chinese government to release immediately all those arbitrarily detained.

Bolton also claimed in his op-ed that Trump made similar comments to Xi in 2017, but he acknowledges that he heard that from someone else.

Hours before Bolton’s op-ed was published, Trump signed the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020.

For those wondering what is going on with the recent Supreme Court decisions, just ask yourself this question: Could this all be part of the coup we’re seeing playing out on our streets? I believe yes, and I believe the ultimate goal is to force POTUS’s hand in declaring martial law. These rulings were nothing short of the DS stating “We still control the judiciary system. Just like we control the media, the majority of the governorships and big city leadership, all the Antifa-like groups, the banking system, practically everything! The only way you’re going to win is for you to hit the proverbial reset button and completely destroy the current system. But you can’t do that because too many people, too many of your fellow patriots will suffer and die, and you’ve got too much heart to do that.” And for the moment, they’re right. Trump does care too much about his countrymen and loves America too much to pull a Hitler or Lenin or Mao or pick a name of any other ruthless dictator in history in usurping authority for himself.

But, this is a short term gambit. Trump is a chess grandmaster. To be one, you have to understand and play the long game. If Trump declares martial law, destroys the current system by rounding up everyone opposing him/us/the Constitution/God’s law and imprisoning/executing them, then he will be responsible for rebuilding it. All the while he’s juggling international pressure from the Chicoms, EU, and the UN, internal strife trying to heal the nation after upheaving everything as well as resistance coming from the normies and blue-pilled crowd who don’t understand the evil Trump is fighting against like we do, and trying to build a “Founding Fathers”-like coalition of brilliant, Constitutional minds to revamp our system so this evil can never happen again. That’s a damn tall order for one man, even as great a man as Trump. On top of that, if he does all this before the election, he will lose support from a lot of the normies because they’ll see him as a dictator interfering in their choice rather than a savior exposing the rot within our country.

So, the long game is to let these people show whose side they’re on and that they do not support America and the American people. This will rage until election day. Trump will continue to hold rallies, stay above the bs, and keep throwing it all back upon these DS people rather than “take charge” of the situation, resulting in him taking ultimate responsibility. At the same time, all these DS clowns will eventually turn on each other because no leftist group can remain whole for very long without petty squabblings arising amongst them (see Trotskyites vs Leninsts). Trump will do just enough behind the scenes to keep the country afloat until election and to keep the DS from succeeding in destroying this country, but none of it will be seen as him taking full responsibility. After the election, gloves will fully come off and we’ll see justice finally. At that point, the majority of Americans won’t see Trump as a vindictive dictator targeting those who oppose him, but a true leader duly elected by We The People to clean up our country and restore our great Republic.

That is, assuming the DS doesn’t pull off a successful “Sum of All Fears” scenario and nuke an American city. If that were to happen, Trump would probably be forced to go full martial law at that point. Pray that doesn’t happen.

In the five years since he rode down that escalator bringin’ hell with him, how many times have they come at Trump and won? Zero. He’s spent half a decade on the edge of doom and he’s still here. Why would you think that the walls are suddenly closing in now? You shouldn’t.

Let’s understand the strategic scenario. The long-term strategic objective of the leftists is to turn the United States into Venezuela, and they want to be Maduro. The major strategic objective that will put them in position to do so is victory in the November elections. Everything happening right now is part of their overall strategy to achieve that objective. But what kind of operation are they using to achieve that objective? There are two types of operations relevant here – kinetic and information. A kinetic operation is actual warfare. An information operation is designed to affect the perceptions, and thereby the actions, of the target. Elections are usually information operations. They attempt to build a narrative and play on perceptions and cause the target to take the action that will lead to victory. That is, get the target (the electorate) vote for the candidate the info operator wants elected.

Okay, so what is the 2020 elections, with the rioting, vandalism, violence and occupations?

This still an information operation, not a kinetic one.

They want to convince us we are powerless, that everyone else supports their commie agenda, that we cannot win. Their tactics are designed to create that impression and crush our morale. These include the 24/7 media hype, the outright media lies, the movie stars with their dumb PSAs, the staged statue attacks, the corporate solidarity proclamations, the social media cancellations, and the craven kneeling by people who are supposed to stand up for us. But another tactic, familiar to any student of insurgencies, is to provoke an overreaction by those in power in order to undermine its moral authority. They want is to make us (including the president) think this is a kinetic operation, and get our side to make fundamental strategic errors by failing to recognize the true nature of the threat. They hope that such a mismatch between perception and reality will then lead to gravely damaging blunders. One of those would be Trump succumbing to his legit frustration and sending in a bunch of federal troops to crack skulls in Seattle…

Oxford Experts: ‘There is No Scientific Evidence for COVID Two Metre Rule’

While other countries and societies are getting back to life as normal, in Britain, the social distancing folly continues. For whatever reason, UK government officials seem desperate to cling to the crisis, and impose new restrictions every week which are only really effective at one thing: hampering business and trade.

It’s become a farce of historic proportions. As a general rule, the government has resisted any demands by businesses to reduce the government’s arbitrary limit from 2 metres to 1 metre. This would have greatly helped businesses to avoid expensive health and safety compliance and reopen this summer.

While the government and its science team dither back and forth, the economy continues to crater, and unemployment is spiralling.

Meanwhile, scientists from the vaunted committee of experts known as ‘SAGE’ (Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies), are busy issuing warnings to ministers that the public will need to wear masks and also ‘minimise their time together’ if they sit closer than 2 metres apart.

It’s already well-known by now according to real data and the experience of European countries – that the virus was seasonal and has already ‘left the building,’ and that the only demographic who were ever at any serious risk were elderly persons with chronic comorbidities, and more specifically, those residing in care homes.

Why are UK government officials still resisting relaxing social distancing measures? Has this become some sort of elaborate political face-saving exercise now, or is there a larger social engineering agenda in motion?

The hope remains that more real science and sober analysis will coontinue emerging which can hopefully influence the government to return to reality, and put the incredible COVID lockdown debacle behind it. But can they?

Broad scope and vague wording may have devastating consequences for Syrians after years of brutal war, experts say

The United States has imposed a sweeping set of new sanctions against any country, individual or entity that provides support to the Syrian government - a campaign that experts warn may devastate the lives of ordinary Syrians trying to survive and rebuild after nine years of war.

The Caesar Act, passed in Congress last year, took effect on Wednesday. It seeks to pressure Syrian President Bashar al-Assad into negotiations with Washington, while preventing foreign allies from assisting the reconstruction of Syria's devastated cities and economy.

It targets the supporters of the Assad government in politics, business and banking. From Russia to Europe, the Gulf, Lebanon and beyond, the new sanctions may freeze assets and trigger travel bans and arrest warrants against violators.

'Not only is it going to prevent these large-scale development projects, it's also going to prevent the ordinary Syrian from trying to rebuild their homes to establish any sense of normalcy or create any kind of way to recover or rebuild'

The act, which is named after a Syrian military photographer who smuggled tens of thousands of gruesome photos out of the country that documented evidence of war crimes, was passed in December as part of the Trump administration's $738bn defence policy bill.

"Our sanctions under the Caesar Act and Executive Order 13894 are not intended to harm the Syrian people, but rather to promote accountability for the Assad regime's violence and destruction that has killed hundreds of thousands of civilians," the US State Department said in a statement on Wednesday.

"This act is meant to send a clear signal that no foreign business should enter into business with or otherwise enrich such a regime," it added.

Still, experts and human rights workers have warned that the broad scope and vague wording of the bill, which mostly focuses on energy and construction sectors, could have overreaching consequences.

Over-compliance, a major risk

While the US has already imposed narrower bans against the Syrian government, the new sanctions triggered by the Caesar Act are more complicated and broad, increasing the risk that banks and foreign traders will avoid doing business with Syrians altogether, including harmless transactions with individual citizens as well as humanitarian aid efforts.

"A big issue we see with sanctions is this whole over-compliance issue, where a small trader in Lebanon, for instance, or a neighbouring country will be reluctant to work with any Syrian business person inside the country because of fears of running afoul of sanctions," said Basma Alloush, policy and advocacy adviser at the Norwegian Refugee Council.

"A bank is completely risk-averse with anything to do with Syria because they don't want to risk violating sanctions, which leads to over-compliance," Alloush told Middle East Eye.

This includes the transfer of humanitarian aid. While the act, like many US sanction bills, has an exemption for such aid, in practice those exemptions do not always work.

"The intention is not to target humanitarians, that's clear. What's not clear is how this exemption is going to be applied. The way the exemption is laid out is very vague and ill-defined," she said.

Even the previous narrower sanctions that had already been levied against Syria have had a major impact on foreign aid, as well as on the country's health-care industry.

"There's a serious shortage of medication in Syria, and even though Syria has its own pharmaceutical companies, some of the input materials that are required to create these medications are missing, so how are you going to help these pharmaceutical companies, which are not even sanctioned… because right now over-compliance has completely blocked that flow of supply," Alloush said.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of the settlements file in the northern West Bank, told Wafa yesterday that the Israeli settlers took advantage of the hot weather to spread the fire they set in Burin village, south of Nablus.

He added that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar set fire to fields in the village and when residents attempted to stop them, occupation forces shot rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas at the Palestinians.

Rights group Yesh Din said residents had told them that the masked settlers fled toward the Har Bracha settlement after setting the fire.

The rights group said another blaze was reported in the eastern part of Burin an hour later.

Globalists Reveal That The “Great Economic Reset” Is Coming In 2021

For those not familiar with the phrase “global economic reset”, it is one that has been used ever increasingly by elitists in the central banking world for several years. I first heard it referenced by Christine Lagarde, the head of the IMF at the time, in 2014. The reset is often mentioned in the same breath as ideas like “the New Multilateralism” or “the Multipolar World Order” or “the New World Order”. All of these phrases mean essentially the same thing.

This same financial crash is still with us today; but now, after a decade of central bank money printing and debt creation, the bubble is even bigger than it was before. Many alternative economists often wrongly attribute the Fed’s habit of making things worse to “hubris” or “ignorance”. They think the Fed actually wants to save the financial system or “protect the golden goose”, but this is not reality. The truth is, the Fed is not a bumbling maintenance man, the Fed is a saboteur, a suicide bomber that is willing to destroy even itself as an institution in order to explode the US economy and clear the path for a new globally centralized one world system. Hence, the “Global Reset”.

In 2015 in my article ‘The Global Economic Reset Has Begun’, I stated:

The global reset is not a “response” to the process of collapse we are trapped in today. No, the global reset as implemented by central banks and the BIS/IMF is the cause of the collapse. Two Jet Pilots from Carrier Roosevelt Safe After Ejecting in Philippine Sea

An F-A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the carrier Theodore Roosevelt took a swim in the Philippine Sea, but the pilots have been recovered and are OK, Navy officials announced Thursday.

The two-seater fighter jet, assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11, had been conducting routine pilot proficiency training when the pilots made the decision to eject, according to a release from the Roosevelt. It's not clear what preceded the pilots' ejection.

The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday local time, Lt. j.g. Rachel Maul, a spokeswoman for U.S. Pacific Fleet, told Military.com.

The pilots were quickly recovered by a helicopter from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8, also deployed aboard Roosevelt. The squadron flies MH-60S Seahawks.

"The incident is currently under investigation," officials said in a release. "Both aviators were assessed by the medical team on board Theodore Roosevelt and are in good condition."

The carrier, which deployed in January, has been in the news for months following a major COVID-19 outbreak in March that resulted in the death of a sailor and more than 1,200 additional cases of the disease. Ultimately, the carrier was sidelined in Guam. Blowback over a plea for help from the commanding officer that went public led to his firing and then the resignation of acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly.

The carrier departed Guam in late May and has been conducting qualification flights in the Philippine Sea ever since.

This mishap is the first ditching of a Navy fighter aircraft this fiscal year. In January, an MH-60 Seahawk assigned to the amphibious command ship Blue Ridge went down in the Philippine Sea during routine operations. Its five aircrew were recovered safely.

Supreme Court Rules 5-4 Against Trump Administration Of DACA Rescission

In a 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court had blocked the Trump Administration from ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as an “arbitrary and capricious” change. Chief Justice John Roberts, joined by the four liberal judges, ruled that Trump’s decision violated the Administrative Procedure Act. It was another self-inflicted wound due to a poorly executed policy change in this area. The ruling is based on procedural failures, not the merits or the underlying authority.

Chief Justice John Roberts was joined by Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor. The majority ruled that: “the agency failed to consider the conspicuous issues of whether to retain forbearance and what if anything to do about the hardship to DACA recipients. That dual failure raises doubts about whether the agency appreciated the scope of its discretion or exercised that discretion in a reasonable manner. The appropriate recourse is therefore to remand to DHS so that it may consider the problem anew.” In dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas, joined Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch, wrote that any such errors were irrelevant because the underlying policy was facially unlawful”: “Under the auspices of today’s decision, administrations can bind their successors by unlawfully adopting significant legal changes through Executive Branch agency memoranda,. Even if the agency lacked authority to effectuate the changes, the changes cannot be undone by the same agency in a successor administration un- less the successor provides sufficient policy justifications to the satisfaction of this Court. In other words, the majority erroneously holds that the agency is not only permitted, but required, to continue administering unlawful programs that it inherited from a previous administration.”

What I find the most interesting is PART IV where Roberts was supported by only three justices (with the omission of Justice Sotomayor). That section rejected the use of President Trump’s public statements as proof of racial animus. The language rejects such reliance by lower courts, particularly the Ninth Circuit.: None of these points, either singly or in concert, establishes a plausible equal protection claim. First, because Latinos make up a large share of the unauthorized alien population, one would expect them to make up an outsized share of recipients of any cross-cutting immigration relief program. … Were this fact sufficient to state a claim, virtually any generally applicable immigration policy could be challenged on equal protection grounds.

Second, there is nothing irregular about the history leading up to the September 2017 rescission. The lower courts concluded that “DACA received reaffirmation by [DHS] as recently as three months before the rescission,” 908 F. 3d, at 519 (quoting 298 F. Supp. 3d, at 1315), referring to the June 2017 DAPA rescission memo, which stated that DACA would “remain in effect,” App. 870. But this reasoning confuses abstention with reaffirmation. The DAPA memo did not address the merits of the DACA policy or its legality. Thus, when the Attorney General later determined that DACA shared DAPA’s legal defects, DHS’s decision to reevaluate DACA was not a “strange about-face.” 908 F. 3d, at 519. It was a natural response to a newly identified problem.

Finally, the cited statements are unilluminating. The relevant actors were most directly Acting Secretary Duke and the Attorney General. As the Batalla Vidal court acknowledged, respondents did not “identif[y] statements by [either] that would give rise to an inference of discriminatory motive.” 291 F. Supp. 3d, at 278. Instead, respondents contend that President Trump made critical statements about Latinos that evince discriminatory intent. But, even as interpreted by respondents, these statements—remote in time and made in unrelated contexts— do not qualify as “contemporary statements” probative of the decision at issue. Arlington Heights, 429 U. S., at 268. Thus, like respondents’ other points, the statements fail to raise a plausible inference that the rescission was motivated by animus.

The decision is already being misrepresented as a ruling on the merits or a rejection of the underlying claims of illegality. It is not.

Some followers have even called the group the real Antifa.

The group’s name is said to come from a mid-80s dance battle movie called “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo,” although followers reject the moniker and use that name only to denote what they believe will be a new civil war triggered by the government’s confiscation of guns, reflecting the common ground among members of various viewpoint, who communicate through online forums like 4-Chan and Reddit, of support for originalist sentiments about the second amendment.

Marine Lance Corporal Dies After Stabbing in Base Housing at Camp Lejeune

A second man involved in a shooting-stabbing incident this weekend at a North Carolina Marine Corps base has died.

Lance Cpl. William J. Luce, an infantry rifleman with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, died on Monday, officials with his command said on Thursday.

Luce was listed in stable condition earlier that day after being transported to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune early Saturday morning after suffering multiple stab wounds. He developed complications and succumbed to his injuries.

Col. John Rochford, 8th Marine Regiment's commanding officer, called Luce a valued member of his unit.

"The 8th Marine Regiment family is saddened by the loss of one of our own in Lance Cpl. William Luce," Rochfordsaid in a statement. "… Our Marines and Sailors will never forget his memory. We extend our sincerest sympathies and support to his family during this difficult time."

Luce was stabbed in a house aboard Camp Lejeune. A male spouse of an active-duty Marine also died in the incident. Officials said that person, whose identity has not been released, suffered from an apparent gunshot wound.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is leading a probe into the matter. The agency has not responded to questions from Military.com about the nature of the relationship between Luce and the Marine spouse. It's also unclear if anyone else was present at the time of the shooting and stabbing.

Luce enlisted in the Marine Corps in October 2015, according to his service records. He graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in South Carolina in January 2016 before completing School of Infantry-East in April of that year.

The infantryman served with Marine Corps Security Force Battalion in Bangor, Washington, before reporting to 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines. His personal awards include the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and National Defense Medal.

In his new book, former US national security adviser John Bolton said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed doubts to him about the assignment of Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner as chief architect of the administration’s Middle East peace plan.

Bolton said that before joining the White House, he had a conversation with Netanyahu in which the premier expressed his skepticism, according to Thursday reports from CNN and The Wall Street Journal.

Netanyahu “was dubious about assigning the task of bringing an end to the Israel-Palestinian conflict to Kushner, whose family Netanyahu had known for many years,” Bolton wrote. “He was enough of a politician not to oppose the idea publicly, but like much of the world, he wondered why Kushner thought he would succeed where the likes of Kissinger had failed.”

Kushner, who is married to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, played a key role in drafting the White House’s “Peace to Prosperity” plan for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The outline was unveiled at the White House in late January.

Following the publication of Bolton’s claims, the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday said that Netanyahu “has complete faith in Jared Kushner’s abilities and resolve and rejects any description to the contrary. Kushner has greatly contributed to furthering peace in the Middle East.”

The PMO statement credited Kushner with formulating the White House peace plan, contributing to Trump’s decisions to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and advancing Israel’s ties with the Arab world.

“With these accomplishments alone and under President Trump’s leadership, Kushner has already achieved what others before him did not accomplish. We are confident that working together we can achieve the lasting and secure peace that we all desire,” said the statement, which did not directly mention Bolton’s claims.

The Trump proposal states that its goal is to serve as the basis for a negotiated Israeli-Palestinian accord, but with the Palestinian Authority having preemptively rejected the plan, Netanyahu has been seeking since it was unveiled to unilaterally extend Israeli sovereignty to the areas allocated to Israel under the plan.

Louisiana man sentenced to 6 years for child pornography following ICE HSI investigation

NEW ORLEANS – Lafayette, Louisiana, resident Jared Tyler Olivier, 24, was sentenced to 80 months in federal prison June 10, 2020, after pleading guilty in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana to transportation of child pornography. The sentencing follows an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New Orleans.

“The abhorrent exploitation of innocent children will not be tolerated, and Homeland Security Investigations special agents will relentlessly pursue anyone involved in the production, distribution, or possession of child pornography,” said Jere T. Miles, special agent in charge of HSI New Orleans.

Following his prison term, Olivier will be required to serve 10 years of supervised release and must also register as a sex offender.

The investigation into Olivier began in January 2019 when the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations (LBI) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that a Tumblr user had uploaded a file containing an image of a prepubescent male engaging in a sexual act. HSI New Orleans and LBI executed a search warrant at Olivier’s apartment in April 2019. Olivier admitted to the officers that he was the user of the Tumblr account and that he used it to view images and videos of child pornography.

Upon further investigation, agents discovered Olivier had used a Dropbox account to store images and videos of child pornography where they found nearly 40 videos of juvenile males engaged in various sexual acts, some as young as approximately three years of age. Olivier admitted that he transported child pornography from a computer to his Dropbox account in January and February 2018.

Blame Trump? US Stockpile Has 63 Million Doses Of Hydroxychloroquine For Coronavirus Treatment

The federal government is trying to get rid of 63 million doses of hydroxychloroquine

The FDA on June 15 stopped its emergency use authorization for the drug

It said hydroxychloroquine is "unlikely to be effective in treating COVID-19 for the authorized uses"

The United States has 63 million worthless doses of hydroxychloroquine, which was touted by President Donald Trump as the "miracle cure" for COVID-19 until the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on June 15 said the federal government would no longer recommend its use against the disease.

The reason: hydroxychloroquine is "unlikely to be effective in treating COVID-19 for the authorized uses." The FDA also said the known benefits to using hydroxychloroquine "no longer outweigh the known and potential risks” in light of ongoing serious cardiac adverse events and other side effects.

This determination led the FDA to terminate its emergency use authorization (EUA) for the anti-malarial drug in a stinging rebuke to Trump, who claimed to have used the drug for two weeks to prevent infection by COVID-19.

The FDA's decision to grant the drug an EUA was widely criticized by the medical community as unnecessary, given a lot was already known about the drug, which was approved for medical use in the U.S. in 1955. Many infectious disease experts were united in saying there was never any evidence hydroxychloroquine could cure COVID-19.

FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn said the decision to authorize hydroxychloroquine in March "was based on evaluation of the EUA criteria and the scientific evidence available at that time." Due to Trump's orders, the federal government began stockpiling massive doses of hydroxychloroquine starting March. Trump began promoting the drug after hearing about a French study claiming it cured COVID-19.

The study, which involved only 20 people, has since been withdrawn for numerous ethical violations. Trump then began touting hydroxychloroquine as "very encouraging" and "very powerful" and a "game-changer."

Most of the doses now stored at the Strategic National Stockpile appear to have been donated by multinational drug firms Novartis International AG from Switzerland and Mylan N.V. from The Netherlands. The stockpile also includes two million doses of chloroquine, a related drug donated by German pharma firm, Bayer AG. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) distributed 31 million doses before the FDA revoked the drug's EUA.

In our last dispatch on the CHOP occupying Seattle’s Capitol Hill, we learned that police and the fire department do not respond to calls from Americans inside the zone (who did not elect the junta in charge, as there never was a vote). This is not to blame police or fire for not responding. They’re under orders from Mayor Jenny Durkan, over the objections of her own top cop, Police Chief Carmen Best.

“I am pleased to support Islamic studies at Harvard and I hope that this program will enable generations of students and scholars to gain a thorough understanding of Islam and its role both in the past and in today’s world,” Prince Alwaleed said. “Bridging the understanding between East and West is important for peace and tolerance.”

Scholarship on the Islamic tradition at Harvard currently encompasses a broad range of disciplines, from religious studies, history, and law, to art and literature. This gift will make it possible to add strength in important disciplines such as the history of science and new areas of study, such as Islamic Inner-Asian, Southeast Asian, or South Asian studies. “For a university with global aspirations, it is critical that Harvard have a strong program on Islam that is worldwide and interdisciplinary in scope,” said Harvard University Provost Steven E. Hyman, who will coordinate the new program’s implementation.

Harvard University has the largest assemblage in the English-speaking world of specialists in one or another aspect of Islamic tradition, including such scholars as Gurney Professor of History Roy P. Mottahedeh, a major Islamic social historian; Professor of Islamic Religious Studies Baber Johansen, a leading specialist in Islamic law; and Jewett Professor of Arabic Wolfhart Heinrichs, a pre-eminent literary expert. However, the primary strength of Islamic studies at Harvard lies both in the coverage of a broad range of fields of study in the early and middle periods of Islamic history (ca. A.D. 600 – 1800), particularly in the greater Middle East, and also in the truly exceptional collections of primary and secondary sources within the Harvard University library system. Harvard’s capacity in non – Middle Eastern and modern Islamic studies does not match its depth in traditional Islamic studies, and the new gift will do much to remedy this.

In order to represent more fully the global reach of Islam past and present, Harvard wants to expand its coverage of the vast field of Islamic studies. Building on existing strengths, a larger concentration of faculty focused on Islam and an increased number of the most promising graduate students in this area will make Islamic studies a more visible and important part of the curricula of Harvard’s faculties. This will improve its coverage of the historical, religious, and cultural aspects of Islamic life around the world and throughout history.

The Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Islamic Studies Program at Harvard University will bring together faculty, students, and researchers from across the University and will be housed within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) in close coordination with Harvard Divinity School. The program will establish four new faculty positions, enabling Harvard to attract a group of additional outstanding academics from a broad range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. Bank Of England Increases Bond Buying Program, Keeps Interest Rates Unchanged

Bank kept its benchmark interest rates at a record low level of 0.1%.

The British economy shrank by a record 20.4% in April

The Bank of England increased the size of its bond buying program by an additional £100 billion ($125 billion) in order to help battle the "unprecedented" economic downturn caused by the covid-19 pandemic.

The additional monetary stimulus will raise the total size of the bank's purchase program to £745 billion ($927 billion).

The Bank noted that it expects the asset-purchase program to be run “at a slower pace” and to finish by the end of the year.

The bank's Monetary Policy Committee, or MPC, also kept its benchmark interest rates at a record low level of 0.1%. (Rates have been cut twice from 0.75% since the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic.) The bank made no reference to interest rates falling below zero.

The decisions follow a recent vow by bank governor Andrew Bailey that the central bank was prepared to act after the country suffered the biggest monthly economic contraction in its history.

The British economy shrank by a record 20.4% in April, while the size of U.K. payrolls dropped by 612,000 between March and May.

However, policymakers also said that they found evidence that the virus’ negative impact on the economy will be "less severe" than they initially feared. They noted, for example, that consumer spending somewhat recovered in May and June, while the housing market has shown some signs of life.

In May the bank had warned that the U.K. economy might shrink by as much as 25% in the second quarter.

Still, the bank expressed caution about the near-term economic prospects.

“The emerging evidence suggests that the fall in global and U.K. [gross domestic product in the second quarter] will be less severe than set out in the May report,” the bank stated. “Although stronger than expected, it is difficult to make a clear inference from that about the recovery thereafter.”

Facebook Continues to Interfere in US Election — Deletes Team Online Trump Ad

Facebook deleted a Team Trump ad on Facebook on Thursday morning.

The anti-Trump New York Daily News reported:

Facebook removed an ad from President Trump’s reelection campaign on Thursday that featured a symbol used by the Nazis to label political prisoners in Adolf Hitler’s concentration camps, saying the inflammatory post violated the platform’s “policy against organized hate.”

The disturbing ad, which was launched Wednesday, calls on users to sign a petition and “stand with your President and his decision to declare ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization.”

Beneath the ad’s text is a picture of a red upside-down triangle.

The Schutzstaffel, the legion of German Nazi soldiers who ran the concentration camps during World War II, sowed badges with the exact same symbol onto the sleeves of political prisoners, including socialists, social democrats, communists and anarchists, but also trade unionists, Freemasons and people who tried to rescue Jews.

A Facebook spokesman confirmed the platform scrubbed the ad because of the Nazi connection.

The Trump campaign told Facebook the red triangle is the Antifa symbol.

Antifa is typically represented with the red and black flags.

Whoever put up the red triangle for Antifa should be fired.

When addressing the concerns of the Anti-Federalists that the proposed office of president would function like a monarch, Alexander Hamilton detailed a list of stark distinctions between the two powers in Federalist #69. He used the power over immigration as the quintessential example of what distinguishes the power of a president from that of a king. Whereas "the one [a president] can confer no privileges whatever," wrote Hamilton, "the other [a king] can make denizens of aliens."

Well, Hamilton never accounted for a post-constitutional era where the federal courts would also be able to make citizens of aliens.

It's not even worth delving into the details of today's 5-4 decision of the Supreme Court that President Trump cannot rescind an illegal executive amnesty of his predecessor in the same way it was initially promulgated. The same way it's not worth trying to parse a decision redefining marriage or sexuality in law. These are powers a court simply does not possess.

The question for Trump and conservatives headed forward is where to go from here, now that so many have realized what I've been warning about for years: namely, that the minute you agree to the premise of judicial supremacism – that the courts stand above the other branches in deciding fundamentally political questions – no amount of "appointing better judges" will rectify a judicial North Korea. The solution is to uproot the concept of judicial supremacism altogether.

"So Trump should defy the court, right?" I've been asked.

No. The courts are defying the law, the Constitution, and 130 years of their own settled case law that illegal aliens have no standing to sue for a right to remain in the country against the will of the political branches of government. It is they who are defying the law. Moreover, as Hamilton noted in Federalist #78, the courts "must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm for the efficacy of its judgments." Thus, Trump declining to actively use his powers to violate immigration laws duly passed by Congress is not defying the courts; it's following the law being defied by the judiciary.

You see, this case is different from almost every case that comes before the courts. Typically, the courts will invent a contrived right and demand that the other branches take an action they need not take. In this case, the court is jumping two steps by demanding Trump not only refrain from deporting illegal aliens, but affirmatively use the tools of government to grant resident documents to people whom our law explicitly prohibits from having them.

If separation of powers means anything at all and we are to preserve a country of checks and balances, Trump must not issue these visas.

Facebook has removed ads run by President Donald Trump's reelection campaign for using "a banned hate group's symbol," a spokesperson confirmed Thursday.

"We removed these posts and ads for violating our policy against organized hate. Our policy prohibits using a banned hate group's symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol," Andy Stone, a Facebook spokesperson, said in a statement.

Ex-Trump adviser breaks silence on Russia probe, says Iran deal played role in false allegations

'It elevates my suspicion that there is something at a higher level that was happening … to stop a president,' Walid Phares says in interview with Just the News.

For more than two years now, Walid Phares has kept a secret. The national security expert favored by many conservatives was interviewed and investigated in the Russia collusion probe, mostly for an issue unrelated to Moscow. It was Egypt, actually. The allegation — like many in the Russia case —, turned out to be spurious, and Phares was never charged with wrongdoing by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team. Now, Phares is speaking out for the first time, suggesting that one of the motives of those who made the allegations and sustained the investigation was to hamper the early Trump presidency’s foreign policy goals, including the 45th president’s long-promised plan to cancel the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal. “In my view, the push against the Trump campaign, and then the transition, and then the administration was on behalf of those who wanted to defend the Iran deal, to protect the interests of the Iran deal,” Phares told Just the News.

Phares, a counterterrorism expert who advised Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign, Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Republicans in Congress for years, has long been a critic of Iran for its support for terrorism as well as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Tehran’s ally in the Sunni world. The Obama administration struck the deal to pay billions to Iran and ease sanctions on the country in exchange for a freeze on its nuclear weapons program, and it recognized the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt after the Arab Spring uprising led to the overthrow of Cairo’s longtime ruler Hosni Mubarak. Trump’s improbable win in 2016 threatened to upend those alliances, Phares said during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast, and likely set in motion efforts to undermine the new president in fall 2016 and spring 2017. “The Obama administration obviously was not happy,” Phares said. "Not just because Donald Trump won the election, but they knew that he was about to change things. The most important point that they were concerned about, and that was not a secret, was the fact that Donald Trump said during the campaign that he will be withdrawing, he will be canceling, he used different terminology, the Iran deal. And the Iran deal was a major strategic achievement of the Obama administration. Definitely, they were not happy with that." “And Donald Trump, also during his campaign, was talking about changing, shifting alliances in the region," he added. "He didn't want the partnership with the Muslim Brotherhood … So it was a massive change in foreign policy.” Phares said one of the events that landed him in the bullseye of the Russia probe occurred in September 2016, when Trump met with the Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who ousted the Muslim Brotherhood from its brief reign of power in Cairo after a popular uprising.

The meeting was actually set up by others, but the Egyptians reached out to Phares, who was advising Trump at the time on Middle East issues, and he encouraged them to meet Trump, Phares said. Sisi actually met Trump and Hillary Clinton on the same day in New York, and Phares didn’t even attend. A year later, Phares suddenly got a knock on his door from FBI agents working for Mueller’s probe. He was questioned several times by agents and prosecutors, as well as by House and Senate investigators. And nothing more ever came of it. Multiple sources with direct knowledge told Just the News that U.S. intelligence during the Obama-Trump transition received allegations suggesting Phares may have accepted money or been acting as an unregistered lobbyist for Egyptians trying to gain influence with Trump. The uncorroborated allegations were eventually put into the scope memo signed in August 2017 by then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that set the parameters for the work that Mueller’s team was to accomplish. Suddenly, the Russia special prosecutor was looking into a matter far from Moscow involving Egypt, the sources said.

TO THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES:

With a view to receiving the advice and consent of the Senate to ratification, I transmit herewith the Protocol Supplementary to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft (the "Beijing Protocol"), adopted by the International Civil Aviation Organization International Conference on Air Law (Diplomatic Conference on Aviation Security) in Beijing on September 10, 2010, and signed by the United States on that same date. I also transmit, for the information of the Senate, the report of the Department of State with respect to the Beijing Protocol.

The Beijing Protocol is an important component of international efforts to prevent and punish terrorism targeting civil aviation. It supplements the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, done at The Hague on December 16, 1970 (the "Hague Convention"), and fills several gaps in the existing international legal framework for combatting global terrorism. It will significantly advance cooperation between States Parties in the prevention of the full range of unlawful acts relating to civil aviation and in the prosecution and punishment of offenders.

The Beijing Protocol amends the existing hijacking offense in the Hague Convention to cover hijackings that occur pre- or post-flight and addresses situations in which the offender may attempt to control an aircraft from outside of the aircraft, such as by remotely interfering with flight operation or data transmission systems. The Beijing Protocol requires States Parties to criminalize these acts under their domestic laws and to cooperate to prevent and investigate suspected crimes under the Beijing Protocol. It includes an "extradite or prosecute" obligation with respect to persons accused of committing, attempting to commit, conspiring to commit, or aiding in the commission of such offenses.

Some changes to United States law will be needed for the United States to implement provisions of the Beijing Protocol, obligating the United States to criminalize certain offenses, make those offenses punishable by appropriate penalties, and authorize the assertion of jurisdiction over such offenses. Proposed legislation is being separately transmitted by my Administration to the Congress.

I recommend that the Senate give early and favorable consideration to the Beijing Protocol, subject to a reservation and certain understandings that are described in the accompanying report of the Department of State.

Obama Had Close Ties to Top Saudi Adviser at Early Age

New evidence has emerged that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was closely associated as early as age 25 to a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers.

In a videotaped interview this year on New York’s all news cable channel NY1, a prominent African-American businessman and political figure made the curious disclosures about Obama.

Percy Sutton, the former borough president of Manhattan, off-handedly revealed the unusual circumstances about his first encounter with the young Obama.

“I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him,” Sutton told NY1 city hall reporter Dominic Carter.

“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.”

Sutton, the founder of Inner City Broadcasting, said al-Mansour contacted him to ask a favor: Would Sutton write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School?

“He wrote to me about him,” Sutton recalled. “And his introduction was there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”

Sutton said he acted on his friend al-Mansour’s advice.

“I wrote a letter of support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly,” Sutton told NY1.

Sutton did not say why al-Mansour was helping Obama, how he discovered him, or from whom he was raising money on Obama’s behalf.

A Sutton aide told Newsmax that Sutton, 88, is ailing and is unlikely to do additional TV interviews in the near future. The aide could not provide additional comment for this story.

As it turned out, Obama did attend Harvard Law School after graduating from Columbia University in New York and doing a stint as a community organizer in Chicago.

The New York Times described how transformative his Harvard experience became for the young Obama: “He arrived there as an unknown, Afro-wearing community organizer who had spent years searching for his identity; by the time he left, he had his first national news media exposure, a book contract and a shot of confidence from running the most powerful legal journal in the country.”
