It lays out (((their))) entire game plan and CLEARLY matches world events for the past 120 years or so.

So, Trump mentioned at the Michigan rally about criminal justice reform, and I'd like to throw in my 2¢…Without divulging too much information regarding my qualifications on the topic, I'd like to discuss recidivism, and life-long labels that I believe contribute to it.

Regarding the Scarlet Letter of the justice system, the Felon, this is a life-long label that simply tells the law breaker, "You will never, in your entire life, be anything other than a Felon.". Sure, they can have other successes in life…raising a close-knit family, successfully entering a (limited) workforce, positively contributing to the betterment of their community…otherwise proving their rehabilitated status. They have a social security number, pay their taxes, and perhaps…help their landlady carry out her garbage. However, they can feel it when they look out their window or when they turn on their television. They can feel it when they go to work…when they go to church…when they pay their taxes…like a splinter in their mind. ( ; - j )

It's no secret that if you repeat something over and over again, you'll start to believe it…the same holds true in this scenario. If you continually remind someone that they are a Felon, with no hope of redemption, with no hope of ever being anything other than a second-class citizen, inalienable rights stripped away for the remainder of your life…well, they'll eventually start to see themselves as nothing more than that. This form of punishment is often worse than incarceration…because it removes ALL hope of ever escaping its bonds. That, in itself, is cruel.

Of course, there are those of you out there that will disagree, have never had momentary lapses in judgement, and will proclaim, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!". You're absolutely correct, and being labeled a Felon should act as a deterrent…but NO ONE can do the time. Even after death, your legacy of all of your post-conviction successes will forever be tarnished and overshadowed by this Scarlet Letter. The 19 year old naive "kid", that was convicted of a "non-violent" financial crime of passing a bad check because he hadn't learned how to manage his money yet, will have received a "life-sentence". It's a shame and a miscarriage of justice.

All crimes are punishable by a maximum sentence, yet seeing the severity, level of involvement, and personal responsibility the offender has taken regarding the admission of their guilt (among other criteria), judges more times than not, reduce the sentencing to less than this, however, the branded "F" this person receives (if in Federal court) WILL NOT, and CAN NOT be removed…EVER. Well, this is the Land of Opportunity, and we, as Americans, believe in second chances and forgiveness. I would propose some criminal justice reform, whereas first-time, non-violent felony convictions (excluding Sedition and Treason) would impose whatever sentencing that the judge deems appropriate, however the Felon label will be imposed only for the duration of the Maximum Sentence outlined in the federal sentencing guidelines. For example, if you are a first-time convict of a non-violent offense, which carries a Maximum Sentence of 10 years, but the judge imposes a sentence of no time served, 3 years probation, and a fine (based off of your cooperation, remorse, etc…), you will remain a Felon for 10 years, provided you have no other felony convictions during that time. This would apply at both the State and Federal level.

By giving non-repeat, non-violent Felons some hope for their futures…something to look forward to, some incentive to "keep their nose clean" and the opportunity to better themselves…I believe this will drastically reduce the amount of recidivism in this country. Everyone needs a wakeup call at least once in their life. Let us help wake them up.

Here's how to stop allowing satan into your device.

Exit all of your apps and reboot the phone. Once the phone is to the home screen:

Go to google.app's info page.

Stop the google.app process.

Clear app cache

Clear app data

Go to app permissions.

Turn off all permissions listed in the google.app permissions section.

Disable Google.app.

Reboot the phone.

Enjoy not being monitored by Google.

Research in the wild has shown that just disabling these apps is not enough; The preloaded apps cannot be uninstalled, being part of the ROM software. Being "disabled" just means that the icons have been hidden from the user in the interface; They are still useable by the system. Permissions matter; It's literally comparable to allowing satan into your house.

None of that matters, because this becomes a legal problem. IF it is proven that Google's ROM software (marketed for it's security features, for Android 9.x) were to not honor user permissions settings, that could open up the parent company to millions, if not billions of dollars in damages in a class action lawsuit, and manufacturers would need to take a harder look at other, actual secure platforms or risk losing business and money.

Anyway

The example is for google.app specifically, but it will also work with other pre-loaded bloatware, like facebook.app and twitter.app. Apple and Microsoft are no better. Same idea applies to those: Deny permissions first, and then disable the apps and reboot.

Federal judge rules California ban on high-capacity magazines violates Second Amendment

A federal judge in California on Friday ruled against the Golden State’s ban on gun magazines that are able to hold more than 10 rounds.

U.S. District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez said the rule violates the Second Amendment and infringes upon citizens’ rights to defend themselves.

“California’s law prohibiting acquisition and possession of magazines able to hold any more than 10 rounds places a severe restriction on the core right of self-defense of the home such that it amounts to a destruction of the right and is unconstitutional under any level of scrutiny,” he wrote in an 86-page decision.

“California’s ban is far-reaching, absolute, and permanent. The ban on acquisition and possession on magazines able to hold more than 10 rounds, together with the substantial criminal penalties threatening a law-abiding, responsible, citizen who desires such magazines to protect hearth and home, imposes a burden on the constitutional right that this Court judges as severe.”

Benitez, a George W. Bush appointee who serves on the bench for the Southern District of California, also wrote that California’s ban unfairly impacts a wide swath of the state’s gun owners, as many choose to use magazines containing over 10 rounds for their defense.

“The magazine ban arbitrarily selects 10 rounds as the magazine capacity over which possession is unlawful…The ban on magazines that hold more than 10 rounds amounts to a prohibition on an entire class of ‘arms’ that is overwhelmingly chosen by American citizens for the lawful purpose of self-defense,” he ruled.

The National Rifle Association (NRA), which backed the lawsuit, hailed the decision as a “huge win for gunowners.”

“Judge Benitez took the Second Amendment seriously and came to the conclusion required by the Constitution,” NRA Executive Director Chris Cox said in a statement. “The same should be true of any court analyzing a ban on a class of arms law-abiding Americans commonly possess for self-defense or other lawful purposes.”

For all the debate over the House Republican memo pointing to alleged misconduct by some current and former FBI and Justice Department officials, one crucial point hasn't gotten the attention it deserves.

And it relates in an unexpected way to special counsel Robert Mueller.

The point is: There are strict rules requiring that each and every fact presented in an FBI request to electronically spy on a U.S. citizen be extreme-vetted for accuracy - and presented to the court only if verified.

There's no dispute that at least some, if not a great deal, of information in the anti-Trump "Steele dossier" was unverified or false. Former FBI director James Comey testified as much himself before a Senate committee in June 2017.
